Ideally, a consultation with an optometrist is done annually and as early as age 4.

“Children may have grade or color vision problems that parents don’t know about”. “Or they could be cross-eyed or wall-eyed. These conditions must be corrected early because after the age 9, the damage becomes more difficult to treat.”
